Take a drive into any commercial or industrial area in America and odds are you will see stacks and stacks of pallets behind and around buildings and businesses. Besides being unsightly, they can take up a lot of valuable space. Some companies choose to remove pallets through free services but they only pick up certain pallet types that meet stringent condition criteria. Other companies unsuccessfully leave them to the curb and hope passersby take them for craft projects or kindling. However, if you want quick and reliable service you can trust, contact us today and inquire about our pallet pickup program.

How Much Does Pickup Cost
Pallet pickup is a paid service. Most jobs are priced per pallet and the cost per pallet is determined by size, type, and condition. We offer a multitude of discounts depending on the parameters of the job. These include but are not limited to volume, pickup frequency, and pallet type.

Why Should I Use Pallet Pickup Services?
If you've ever had to lift a pallet by hand you know they are no joke. One of our typical loads of empty pallets sits at over 5,000 pounds. If you don't have the equipment, manpower, or logistical knowledge it can be a headache and comparatively even more expensive endeavor to try to remove them yourself. (Plus it's tax deductible).

How Quickly Can You Come?
If you are in need of our pallet pickup on an inconsistent basis, we treat your job as regular commercial junk removal. If we are in the area and our schedule permits, we might be able to pick up the same day. However, most likely it would be within the next few days. If you are on a recurring pickup schedule, we can come on specific days, dates, or times that best suit your needs. In an emergency situation, we can even come after hours as long as the pallets are in an accessible area.

How Often Can You Come?
We can accommodate routine pallet pickup services ranging from monthly to several times a week.

Recycle, don't waste!
Carolina Junk Pros prioritizes sustainability and community support. Unlike other companies, we do not trash everything. When conducting pallet pickup we often will try to recycle the wood which will then be turned into things like mulch or particle board. If pallets have been exposed to the elements and are in too poor shape to recycle - we take them to the county landfill where they are responsibly disposed of.
Where do we Haul From
Generally, there are no exclusions or requirements to be eligible for our pallet pickup services. However, here are the most common pickup spots:

-
Warehouses - excess pallets from inventory and shipping operations.
-
Retail Stores - used for product displays or deliveries.
-
Manufacturing Facilities - transportation of materials and products.
-
Distribution Centers - primarily for shipping and receiving.
-
Construction Sites - used to store or transport building materials.

How Can I Get Rid Of Pallets
It doesn't always make sense to hire a pallet pickup company. If your business only ever has a couple of pallets at a time - there are multiple options to dispose of them yourself. Not everyone has big trucks, trailers, or the tools that we do but that doesn't make pallet removal impossible. Here are some alternatives.

-
Break the pallet down - As usual, take caution when dealing with pallets and tools. Wear work gloves and eye protection. You can use a pry bar or sawzall to break pallets down into manageable pieces that can fit in a vehicle trunk or SUV or any dumpster at your place of business.
-
Burn Pallets - If you have a burn pit or safe area to do so, you can use old pallets as a fuel source to get rid of them.
-
Rent a Truck or Box Truck - If you have more than a few pallets but not quite enough to warrant our services, you can rent a box truck or borrow a pickup truck or trailer, load them up, and take them to a local recycling center or landfill.
